The BGM process

The structure and process of occupational health management (OHM) is clearly defined. It is defined in the prevention guidelines of the GKV Spitzenverband and consists of the following phases:

  • Preparation: Basic information on OHM.
  • Establishment of structures: Steering committee, definition of objectives, definition of key figures, rough project structure.
  • Analysis: Status quo analysis, questionnaires, target/actual comparison.
  • Planning of measures: program concept, prevention offers: Exercise, stress reduction, nutrition.
  • Implementation: Use of Move Republic as a basis for exercise and healthy habits.
  • Evaluation: Key figure analysis, evidence analysis, surveys, sustainability report, planning next phase & expansion.

Our approach

We support the process in its simplest possible form and offer options for expansion.

  • Objectives: when asking about the objectives, we suggest the most common objectives. In most cases, you do little wrong if you aim for a moderate reduction in the sickness rate.
  • Analysis: we help you to find and use existing figures - such as sickness rates and fluctuation. We use a survey tool to help gather employee opinions. Provide a clear and simple indicator of the maturity of the OHM process in the company.
  • Measures: We help to initiate the right measures. In the beginning, it is usually enough to motivate employees to engage in healthy exercise and healthy habits.
  • Implementation: Here the BGM process goes hand in hand with our program. The introductory phase is well supported by an individual 12-week plan and the program is rolled out across the board.
  • Evaluation: Our key figures are generated by entering a few data points each month and allow meaningful and well-founded decisions to be made for the next iteration via anonymized analyses.
